Using shutter speed to 1 minute even 1 hour on film media will not bring any effect on image quality, provided that the camera does not flinch during the shutter open. Did not encounter problems should we always use a GPS connection when we capture a significant event in our photo.
Actually had no place in the table to write EXIF GPS data.
Today we know that GPS has been integrated into existing digicam on the D2X camera, professional digital DSLR that can be connected to the GPS through an additional module, if needed, the way the camera can store data on the coordinates, altitude and time in the world where the pictures in grab.
And of course the file size of images becomes larger with the addition of the coordinate data.
